Logger

The logger module lists all upcoming messages in Measmatic and gives feedback about the status of the software. Depending on the user level the logger will display messages from different categories. Information messages are displayed for every role and will give the main feedback about measurements and data storage. If the mouse is placed above a Log-Message and a Right-Button click on the mouse is performed, the following functionalities are available:

s As well as any other module the logger can be enabled/disabled in the menu (refer to section 3.2), placed anywhere, automatically hidden or fixed in its position and stacked with other modules (re- fer to the introduction of chapter 9).

Clear log view

This function is available by a right mouse click on the Logger. The complete log view will be cleared in the user interface. It is still stored in the local log files.

Open log file in Editor

This function is available by a right mouse click on the Logger. The log will be opened in Notepad and can be modified and saved individually.
