Keithley 4200

The Keithley 4200 extension package for Measmatic provides a set of tests specifically designed for the Keithley 4200 semiconductor characterization system. This package allows users to perform various electrical measurements on the device using Measmatic.

  • K4200 7 pole: Perform I-V measurements with up to 7 smu channels.
  • K4200 Pulse: Perform pulsed I-V measurements.
  • K4200 HF CV: Perform high-frequency capacitance-voltage measurements.
  • K4200 Multi switch: Test to control a Keithley 4200A-CVIV Multi-Switch.
  • K4200 RPM switch: Test to control a Keithley RPM Switch.
  • K4200 Dev int: Performs a initialization/reset of the Keithley 4200 device.

The setups files will be made available for download after purchase.

Run the extension package setup file on the same system where Measmatic is installed. The setup will install all necessary files to the appropriate directories. (See Overview→Setup for more information on how to install an extension package.)

The Keithley 4200 does not natively support TCP/IP communication; therefore, an auxiliary software component is necessary to enable remote interfacing over a network. This functionality is provided by the ATV Interface for Keithley 4200, which must be installed directly on the Keithley 4200.

🧰 Usage#

After the extension package is installed, the tests can be found in the test picker view under the category Keithley 4200. Before running the tests make sure the Keithley 4200 is connected to Measmatic in the Device manager. In order to connect the Keithley 4200 to Measmatic make sure that the ATV Interface for Keithley 4200 is running on the Keithley 4200 device.
